Welcome to our School!
Welcome to Mauku School! I'm James Christie, and I'm thrilled to be the principal of this incredible learning community.
We're bursting with pride when it comes to our school, and we consider it a true privilege to be a part of this dynamic learning environment.
We are a lively, vibrant, and creative school community nestled amidst the paddocks and pastures of the Franklin District, just a stone's throw from Pukekohe and Waiuku. Our mission is to ensure that every child in our care enjoys the very best learning experiences possible.
Mauku School has a rich history of serving our local community with a big smile, and we're all about offering students authentic and engaging learning adventures.
Our aim is to nurture children who are creative, eager to collaborate, and bursting with confidence. We've set the bar high because we believe in our students and their potential to achieve greatness.
Our staff forms an exceptional team, bringing their unique strengths to the table to ensure students engage in enriching learning experiences. Students have the opportunity to explore small group and independent learning in their classrooms and teams, where they can have a voice in their learning journey, goals, and pathways, all while working collaboratively with their teacher.
At Mauku School, our values are more than just words; they are a way of life—The Mauku Way. These values are supported by a PB4L approach to behaviour. Our values are:
We Care
We Contribute
We Conquer
We've got a strong sense of partnership with our parents and community, all working together towards one common goal - our students' success and growth!
Our staff is an amazing group of individuals. They are always eager to learn and grow through professional development and consistently go above and beyond for the students they care for.
Please feel free to make time to come and visit us. We're beaming with pride for Mauku School, and we'd love to share it with you.
